Terms & Conditions

Boarding/ Staycation Terms & Conditions

Here at Barkber, we strive to have the highest standards for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. To ensure that all pets are our number one priority we have terms and conditions in place to help us achieve them together.
We respectfully ask all our clients and prospective clients to read through these to keep our facility running smoothly. As with anything else you see and read on our site, we appreciate questions, suggestions, and concerns.

Thank you in advance - we couldn't do this without your support.

Current Vaccination

All dogs being serviced in BARKBER must be current on their rabies vaccination and provide documentation of such. All puppies must be at least 3.5 months old and current on their puppy series vaccines Eurican E7 / Vanguard Plus 5L4CV (+ DEFENSOR 3 / Rabies). It is your responsibility to vaccinate your dog. Vaccination against kennel cough is recommended but not required. We also recommend that all guests be treated for worms and have effective flea and tick protection.

We take no responsibility for your dog contracting any viral diseases while staying with us. There are extra risks to puppy of contracting disease or illness by entering the boarding/staycation without being fully vaccinated.

Reservations

Reservations need to be made at least 48 hours before your arrival. To book, you can call or chat with our admin team at +62 822 9999 7273. After setting your reservation, we will send you a Booking Form to provide information about your dog. Please be as detailed as possible to help us create a familiar environment for your pet. Once we receive your Booking Form and payment, we will confirm your booking. We recommend first-time clients meet us before booking, as our priority is the well-being of the dogs in our care. Meetings are by appointment only.

Boarding Cancellations

BARKBER understands that life can be unpredictable, and you may not be able to bring your dog on your scheduled days. If this occurs, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur full charges at your next boarding.

Check In & Check Out

Check-ins and check-outs are only during our working hours. All dogs must be checked upon dropping off in front of you and when you are coming to pick up. Dogs should be clean and well-groomed when checked in; we offer grooming services if needed. Please allow extra time during your visit to talk about your pet's feeding routines, special needs, and their stay. Any additional costs for grooming, food, etc., will be paid when you pick up your dog, and we will inform you of the total amount beforehand.

Early Drop-Off / Late Pick-Up

If you need to drop off your dog prior to our store hours, BARKBER provide an early drop off service at a rate of HOURLY DAYCARE per hour. If you need to pick up your dog after closing, BARKBER provides a late pick-up service at a rate of HOURLY DAYCARE per hour.

Collars & Leashes

Because our place is located on a highly traveled road, ALL DOGS MUST ARRIVE AND LEAVE ON LEASHES OR IN A PET CARRIER. Even if your dog does not generally walk on a leash, they can be unpredictable at times, so to ensure everyone remains safe, please walk your dog to and from your car on a leash or in a pet carrier. No retractable leashes allowed.

Fleas/Ticks

All dogs must be flea/tick free. The groomer will check for fleas or ticks during boarding check in and will advise you if your dog needs to be treated. If we found more than 5 fleas and/or ticks, it will be removed for an additional charge or a flea/tick bath treatment will be applied and charged to the owner, depending on severity and size of dog. We will attempt to contact you regarding options.

Please understand, if your dog is severely flea/tick-infested, your dog will be able to join the boarding, and need to be pick up as soon as possible.

Feeding

We don’t provide food because each dog has specific dietary needs. Please bring your dog’s food in a clearly labeled container with feeding instructions for ideal care. If you don’t want to bring food, we have a few popular brands available for an extra charge, which you can choose during check-in or ask our staff about. Fresh water is always available for your pet, with bowls placed throughout the facility.

Dogs will usually be fed in the mornings and evenings, unless the owner says otherwise on the Booking Form. We will follow your instructions on the amount and type of food your dog is used to, ensuring their routine stays the same as at home.

Belongings & Bedding

Everything your dog requires for their stay here is provided. We understand that dogs may enjoy the comfort of familiar items during their time away from home so you are welcome to send their belongings as bed or blanket. All belongings left with the dog are left at the owner’s risk. We cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of these items, and reserve the right to discard any item due to the health & safety and hygiene condition.

Bathing

Dogs can definitely get dirty while boarding or enjoying staycations with us at BARKBER. Additionally, long-haired dogs may also develop tangles and mats from all the playful activity they engage in during their stay here. To address these grooming needs, we offer professional grooming services specifically designed for your furry friends. If you would like your dog to receive a bath before pick-up, please make sure to inform a staff member during the drop-off process for pricing details. This advance notice helps us effectively plan playtime and ensures that your dog is clean, fresh, and ready for you at pick-up. Furthermore, dogs that stay with us for over 7 days are rewarded with one complimentary express shower, making their stay even more enjoyable.

Spayed & Neutered

Dogs do not need to be neutered or spayed to stay at our facility and enjoy their time with us. However, it is important to note that we cannot accept female dogs that are currently in heat, and we may also deny entry to unneutered males if they display aggressive behavior towards other dogs or staff. To ensure a smooth visit for everyone, please inform us right away if your female dog is in heat or is approaching her heat cycle. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Behavior

All dogs in boarding or staycation must be friendly and not exhibit defensive behaviors over toys, food, or people. Owners are required to confirm that their dogs have not harmed any individuals or other animals in the past. If a dog demonstrates aggressive behavior or misbehaves in any way, we will notify you immediately and provide a detailed report when you come to pick up your dog. Additionally, excessive barking can be disruptive and bothersome to others, so we may take appropriate measures to separate your dog for the safety of all involved or implement training techniques until your arrival. BARKBER reserves the right to deny or cancel service completely if your dog displays any signs of aggression or has a known history of such behavior.

Boarding/ Staycation Risks

At BARKBER, dog owners can feel confident knowing that their beloved pets have the opportunity to safely play off-leash and socialize in a secure environment while being watched closely by our experienced staff. They understand that dogs can sometimes behave unpredictably during playtime, which can add an element of excitement as well as caution. Although our dedicated staff vigilantly monitor play sessions to ensure safety, there remains a possibility of injury from rough play or skirmishes, which could result in scrapes, bites, or other minor injuries. Additionally, there might be also a chance that infections or parasites may spread among the dogs. By allowing their dogs to participate in our boarding or staycation services, owners acknowledge these inherent risks and take responsibility for any issues that may arise during their pets' stay at BARKBER.

Health / Medical Problems & Senior Dogs

Dogs with contagious diseases or parasites are not allowed at BARKBER. We are happy to provide care for injured dogs or those with special medical or health needs, but for the safety and health of other dogs at BARKBER, we cannot accommodate dogs with contagious disease or parasites. If a dog arrives at BARKBER showing signs of disease or parasites, or if a dog is actively being treated for disease or parasites, the dog is not allowed to stay at BARKBER. This is for the comfort, health, and safety of your dog and the other dogs at BARKBER. Please do aware and understand that BARKBER employees are not veterinarians and do not have backgrounds in animal medicine. BARKBER employees cannot diagnose or detect illnesses in all dogs that are coming to BARKBER.

Authorized Persons for Pick-Up

If someone other than yourself or another owner of the dog is picking up from boarding/staycation, that person must either be listed on your registration form as authorized to pick-up, or we must know at drop off. ID will need to be presented by the person picking up for verification before staff can release your dog. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Satisfaction

BARKBER strives to be the very best we can be, both for you and your beloved dog. If you are ever dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to let us know. BARKBER will gladly work closely with you to ensure that you are receiving the high-quality service you truly deserve. Your satisfaction and your dog's happiness are our top priorities.
