Terms & Conditions

Daycare Terms & Conditions

Here at Barkber, we strive to have the highest standards for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. To ensure that all pets are our number one priority we have terms and conditions in place to help us achieve them together.
We respectfully ask all our clients and prospective clients to read through these to keep our facility running smoothly. As with anything else you see and read on our site, we appreciate questions, suggestions, and concerns.

Thank you in advance - we couldn't do this without your support.

Current Vaccination

All dogs being serviced in BARKBER must be current on their rabies vaccination and provide documentation of such. All puppies must be at least 3.5 months old and current on their puppy series vaccines Eurican E7 / Vanguard Plus 5L4CV (+ DEFENSOR 3 / Rabies). It is your responsibility to vaccinate your dog. Vaccination against kennel cough is recommended but not required. We take no responsibility for your dog contracting any viral diseases while staying with us. There are extra risks to puppy of contracting disease or illness by entering the daycare without being fully vaccinated.

Reservations

Reservations are required with minimum 24-hour prior to arrival. To book an appointment, you can call or chat our admin +62 822 9999 7273. For daycare we suggest you reserve the same day(s) each week, if possible, because of the pack nature of dogs.

Hourly / Half-Day Daycare

If you are only dropping off for an hourly or a half-day (4 hours or less), we must know at drop off, otherwise we will charge FULL DAYCARE fee.

Daycare Cancellations

BARKBER realize life happens and sometimes you are unable to bring your dog on your scheduled day(s). If this happens, please give us 24 hours’ notice before. If you don’t call us ahead of time, you will forfeit that day. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged full fees on the next appointment.

Early Drop-Off / Late Pick-Up

If you need to drop off your dog prior to our store hours, BARKBER provide an early drop off service at a rate of HOURLY DAYCARE per hour. If you need to pick up your dog after close, BARKBER provide a late pick-up service at a rate of HOURLY DAYCARE per hour.

Collars & Leashes

Because our place is located on a highly traveled road, ALL DOGS MUST ARRIVE AND LEAVE ON LEASHES OR IN A PET CARRIER. Even if your dog does not generally walk on a leash, they can be unpredictable at times, so to ensure everyone remains safe, please walk your dog to and from your car on a leash or in a pet carrier. No retractable leashes allowed.

Fleas/Ticks

All dogs must be flea/tick free. The groomer will check for fleas or ticks during the pre-groom consultation and will advise you if your dog needs to be treated. If we found more than 5 fleas and/or ticks, it will be removed for an additional charge or a flea/tick bath treatment will be applied and charged to the owner, depending on severity and size of dog. We will attempt to contact you regarding options. Please understand, if your dog is severely flea/tick-infested, your dog will be placed in isolation until picked up for the day.

Feeding

If your dog requires feeding during the day, please bring the food in a container labeled with your dog’s name and feeding instructions. Water is available at all times.

Bathing

Dogs at play during the regular daycare day may get dirty. Dogs with longer hair can get matted from the level of activity at daycare. BARKBER offers grooming services. If you would like us to bathe your dog before you pick them up from daycare (ask BARKBER staff member for pricing) we must know during drop off, so we can plan accordingly to ensure the dog gets plenty of playtime and is bathed before your scheduled pick-up time.

Spayed & Neutered

Dogs do not need to be neutered or spayed to attend our daycare facility.  However, we will not accept females in heat and may refuse intact males who are overly aggressive. Please advise us IMMEDIATLY if your female dog is in season or due to come into season.

Behavior

All dogs in daycare must be non-aggressive and not protective of toys, food or other objects, or people. Owners certify that their dog(s) has not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dogs or animals. If your dog is displaying aggressive behavior, or is misbehaving while at daycare, we will notify you and give a conduct report at pick-up to ensure you are aware of your dog’s daily activity while in our care. Because excessive barking can escalate the intensity of the pack dynamic and create an extremely chaotic environment for the dogs, we reserve the right to remove your dog to its own separate area for safety reasons until your arrival or other training aides as we feel necessary. BARKBER reserves the right to refuse or cancel service if your dog displays aggressive behavior or has any history of aggressive behavior.

Daycare Risks

Owners understand that while at BARKBER, dogs will experience supervised off-leash socialization and play with other dogs, and exercise. Owners acknowledge that dogs can be unpredictable in behavior while interacting and playing together. While their activities are closely monitored, anytime dogs play together, there is the possibility of injury from rough play or confrontational behavior. This includes, but is not limited to, scrapes, cuts, and bites. There is also an increased risk of transmission of infections, coughs, colds, and parasites when dogs play together. Owners acknowledge and accept the inherent risks and assume all liability for any risk.

Health / Medical Problems & Senior Dogs

Dogs with contagious diseases or parasites are not allowed at BARKBER. We are happy to provide care for injured dogs or those with special medical or health needs, but for the safety and health of other dogs at BARKBER, we cannot accommodate dogs with contagious disease or parasites. If a dog arrives at BARKBER showing signs of disease or parasites, or if a dog is actively being treated for disease or parasites, the dog is not allowed to stay at BARKBER. This is for the comfort, health, and safety of your dog and the other dogs at BARKBER. Please do aware and understand that BARKBER employees are not veterinarians and do not have backgrounds in animal medicine. BARKBER employees cannot diagnose or detect illnesses in all dogs that are coming to BARKBER.

Authorized Persons for Pick-Up

If someone other than yourself or another owner of the dog is picking up from daycare, that person must either be listed on your registration form as authorized to pick-up, or we must know at drop off. ID will need to be presented by the person picking up for verification before staff can release your dog. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Satisfaction

BARKBER strive to be the best we can be, for you and your dog. If you are ever dissatisfied with any service, please tell us. BARKBER will gladly work with you to ensure you are getting the service you deserve.
